Support Quilliam, or else! Whitewashing war criminals….

We previously stated that the Quilliam Foundation, funded and supported by Blairites with their own ideological commitments, are behind Ed Husain (the real cover for the organization). We stated he is connected to the likes of Ruth Kelly, Dennis MacShane and writers such as Martin Bright of the New Statesman. The language and the choice of words, that come out of Ed’s mouth, are far too selective and indicate a manoeuvre or propaganda stint, to de-emphasize the Iraq war or at least to belittle its effects as marginal. Sure, they may concede that the Iraq war may have gone wrong in some aspects, but it was right in principle, and the wars are not the real cause of terrorism (as if social causality is linear!), it’s the mindset of the ‘Islamists’. After all, Ed is in the know, a native informant who spilled the beans, he was an ‘islamist’, well over ten years ago when he was a lost teenager, he then has a sudden epiphany, after receiving his papers and briefings or colluding for his own reasons – his experiences will tell the ‘truth’ to all and sundry. Today Inayat has confirmed what we knew all along, when Inayat’s organization with others approached the government for support and funding, the response was:

Some representatives of various UK Islamic groups were invited to see senior officials at the Department of Communities and Local Government recently to discuss the work they were doing with young people. Strong hints were dropped that they could obtain financial support from the government, but only if they were prepared to work with – and thereby help lend credibility to – Ed Husain’s soon to be launched Quilliam Foundation.

Now it seems strange that an organisation, with a sum total of four members, no grass roots support, will gain such support from the government, whose support is made a condition for any funding, if wasn’t for the fact that the original member and the brainchild of the organisation, namely Ed Husain, has networked himself within his party to start this project and was promised support from the government in return. Maajid, an ideal recruit, was courted, linked to Panorama and other media outlets, to start such a think-tank, but the person with the connections is none other than Ed Husain. For sure this is all speculation, but what is beyond doubt is that Ed Husain’s Quilliam Foundation has been selectively chosen by the government, receives strategic support and is there to serve a propaganda purpose – to whitewash the government from the mass murder of thousands of civilians, as part of their war mongering.

All this is baffling, in the case of Maajid Nawaz, as he stated in his City Circle talk that the Labour party’s ruling apparatus have committed wanton terrorism, but the ideas of Labour are not the problem (I digress). Nevertheless, I want to ask Maajid if the government is run by these wanton terrorists, then why are you being selected by them, demanded support as a condition of funding for other organizations? Also, why does Ed advocate the polar opposite, on the British ruling establishment? These inconsistencies make you question the coherence and integrity of Maajid’s claims and his acquaintance with a New Labour propagandist i.e. Sir Edward Husain. Isn’t he slightly troubled that he works and advocates for an organization that was set-up to whitewash war criminals?
