Well then I will give the platform to Abdul Rehman Malik to clarify what seems to be a problem as I emphasised. Inshallah it was a slip of the tongue on his part when he promoted the Quilliam Foundation in Egypt.

We await his response. If he does not choose to respond then it is our duty to make this public to the Muslims in this country to push  the Radical Middle Way for a clarification . They must distance themselves from the beliefs of the Quilliam Foundation publically or it will significantly damage their reputation in this country.  Like I said as of yet we have not added this foundation to the heretics that support this group.

For the sake of simplicity let’s divide British Muslims into those very politicised by current affairs and those who are not. It is in the former category of politicised Muslims, especially those angry with foreign policy and come under the influence of radical recruiters, where the Qulliam Foundation needs to have influence and impact. And to have that influence and impact QF needs the backing of various Muslim bodies, intellectuals and imams etc. Without that they’re just two guys doing media interviews and getting some government funding. They’ll have negligible impact on the ground.

I think Sunny has failed to realise it is too late! Ed and his cronies knew from the begining that they would not get any real Muslim support and they are as you said now reduced to

Unfortunately they are taking government funding, spending on Allah knows what and pretending they are tackling extremism. Instead they are just ranting and raving popular cliches among certain Non Muslim bodies. Ed will get his books sold, Maajid and Rashad may get some hidden benefits ( who knows what will come out later) and the Government is red in the face knowing that they have been swindled and taken for a ride!  Ed and his cronies are now getting government funding as Maajid admited in a briefing given to the Guardian. As one minister in the Government said

“This cannot continue, it’s completely counterproductive. You have to engage with those with influence over those you want to influence.”

Indeed, it would be wise to interact with Muslim groups of all variety whatever there history and the Rand’s disagreements with, for the common good in this country. A government policy should not be based on a world that is coloured by Newspapers like THE SUN!

The majority of Muslims are peaceful and can provide benefit to this country but NOT at the expense of their religion and especially their creed! Those high up, have done the Muslims a favour and alhamdulillah have united us as never seen before. (more on this coming up soon on this blog!)
